LSG, an impact agency specializing in brand building, corporate reputation management, and public affairs, is seeking a senior director or vice president to join our team in Houston, TX. The role will serve as a senior campaign manager and strategist for new and existing LSG clients.

Ideal candidates should have previous experience in corporate public affairs and communications, political affairs and issue advocacy, corporate campaign/coalition management, or corporate reputation and brand management. Prior agency experience is preferred.

LSG’s collaborative work environment thrives on in-person interaction. This position is expected to be in the company’s Woodlands, TX office Monday through Thursday.


  • Manage the execution of integrated public affairs and communications campaigns across the country, with a focus on LSG’s growing business footprint in Houston and across Texas, and neighboring states.
    • Role will also support the overall strategy and strategic development of campaigns year-after-year.
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact, providing strategic counsel, staying responsive to client needs, and nurturing and growing client relationship to support broader business goals, objectives, and processes.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality, strategic client deliverables, including communications materials like messaging documents, talking points, and press materials such as media advisories, press releases, op-eds/LTEs, social media content, ad copy, etc.
  • Lead the delivery of client reporting (written and verbal), including the management of weekly reports, key metrics, and client presentations.
  • Serve as LSG supervisor helping to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to LSG’s senior directors, directors, managers, and associates.
  • Support the business development process, including brainstorming, writing, and editing of LSG strategic plans and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Position will also network and grow relationships including attending events, receptions, and conferences/industry events.
  • Maintain an active understanding of ongoing LSG clients and campaigns across the firm’s practice areas to offer ongoing, relevant strategic support in coordination with LSG leadership.
    • This will include developing expertise on LSG’s growing client portfolio in Houston, Texas, as well as support for client engagements in Washington, DC and other priority markets across the United States.


  • At least 7-10 years in public affairs or communications working in corporate public affairs and communications, political affairs and issues advocacy, corporate campaign/coalition management or corporate reputation and brand management.
  • Agency, political campaign, and/or project management experience where a candidate can demonstrate a proven ability to manage multi-faceted projects, is a plus.
  • Proven writing and editing capabilities to support the development of various high-quality materials, including proposals, PowerPoints, messaging materials, talking points, letters, op-eds/LTEs, social media content, media advisories, press releases, and corporate statements.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively, ensuring work product is relevant, inspiring, and impactful.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and deliverables efficiently through systems and proper communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
