HOUSTON, TX – LSG, a leading impact agency helping clients grow, evolve, and protect their brands and reputations, today announced two new strategic hires in its Houston, TX, office. The additions of Jakob Stewart, Director, and Carolyn Hammond, Associate, will expand LSG’s Texas staff from three to five and allow for increased capacity as LSG continues to see rapid growth in the Houston market and across the state.

New LSG Houston Team Members
Jakob Stewart previously worked for Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis, leading compelling communications and community engagement efforts that kept Harris County residents informed regarding important local issues, including transportation, flood control, parks, and emergency management. He also worked for a Central Texas Member of Congress and on state legislative campaigns with the Nevada Assembly Democrats, Virginia House Democrats, and other initiatives across Texas. Jakob is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
Carolyn Hammond is a 2023 graduate of Southern Methodist University, completing her studies in May with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. While in college, she earned internships at Droese PR, Axiom Strategies, and Sullo & Sullo LLP, and was also selected as the university’s first non-journalism major to be named editor of SMU Look Magazine. Carolyn is also an accomplished blogger, running her own fashion blog and contributing to other outlets.
